J.C. Show Basketball Bio

J.C. Show plays professional basketball and conducts private basketball lessons during his off-seasons. J.C. played the 2021-22 season in the NBA G League for the Salt Lake City Stars and the Westchester Knicks. He has also played in the TBL league for the Albany Patroons in 2022 and Omaha’s Finest in 2021. In the 2021 TBL season with Omaha’s Finest, J.C. finished 2nd in the entire TBL league in made three pointers (97 made 3FG in 24 games), and he finished 7th in the league in free throw percentage (89.7%). In the 2022 TBL season, he was a key contributor for an Albany Patroons team that finished as runners-up in the 2022 TBL finals.

J.C. graduated from Binghamton University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development (2017) and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (2019). While playing at Binghamton, Show appeared in 76 games (75 starts) and scored 12.7 ppg in 2.5 seasons. He was named to the America East Conference All-Academic Team twice (2017-18, 2018-19). He set the school record (at the time) for points in a game (34 pts) and holds the record for 3 pointers made in a game (10). He also holds the school record for 3 pointers made in a season (86). In the 2018-19 season, he helped Binghamton win their first conference tournament game since 2012, and advance to their first conference semifinal since 2009. Show spent his freshman year at Bucknell University before transferring to Binghamton where he appeared in all 34 games (3 starts) for a Bison team that won the Patriot League regular season championship and earned an NIT tournament berth. He averaged 6.7ppg in 18 mins/game and earned Patriot League Rookie of the week twice. He finished his college career with 1,200 points, 331 rebounds, 145 assists, and 87 steals in just under 3.5 seasons.

J.C. attended Abington Heights High School and graduated in 2014. While in high school, Show played football and basketball from 2010-2014. He was a part of 5 district championship teams (3 basketball, 2 football) and a part of 2 AH basketball teams that advanced to the PIAA state quarterfinals. In 2014, Show was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Pennsylvania, as well as “Mr. Basketball” for Pennsylvania. In the same year (2014) he was named the TImes-Tribune Male Athlete of the Year. In 2013, J.C. was featured by Reebok/MaxPreps as one of the Top 25 Dynamic multi-sport high school athletes in the US. He was also named 3x all state in basketball (1st team in 2012-13, 13-14), and was named 2x all state in football (both 3rd team in 2012 & 2013). He also holds the boys basketball scoring record at Abington Heights with 1,950 career points.
